The 8 week course is taught In Birmingham, Alabama:

HOW TO GET A REAL ESTATE LICENSE IN ALABAMA

The real estate salesperson course is required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission as a prerequisite to the state licensing exam. Subjects covered include Real Estate Law, Agency Laws, Property Interests and Rights, Deeds, Financing, Mortgages, Listing Agreements, Contract Law, and other topics.

TO RECEIVE AN ALABAMA REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON'S LICENSE YOU MUST:


  • Be 19 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Not have felonies involving moral turpitude
  • Complete and pass the required 60 hour pre-license course
  • Pass multiple choice state license exam with a minimum score of 70%

      STEPS FOR STUDENTS TO TAKE

      1. Enroll in a pre-license course at Avery Yarbrough & Associates (sometimes referred to ABC Institute)
      2. Successfully complete the 60 hour course (either classroom or home study computer course)
      3. Pass the Alabama State License Exam

  • Real estate licenses are those authorizations by a local or state administration given to agents and/or brokers to be able to legally represent a seller or buyer in the process of buying or selling real estate in that specific community or state.

2) Real Estate License Sneak Preview:

  • Today in many states, the real estate agent (acting as an agent of the broker with whom he/she is employed) is required to disclose to prospective buyers and sellers who represents whom.

3) Preperation Cram Course Recommended!

  • At common law, an estate is the totality of the legal rights, interests, entitlements and obligations attaching to property. In the context of wills and probate, it refers to the totality of the property which the deceased owned or in which some interest was held. It may also refer to an estate in land.
